At Narrative Candle Company, we aim to ensure your order reaches you safely and smoothly. Please review the details below to understand how shipping works and what to expect. All shipping currently takes 5-10 business days.

Shipping Provider

We use Chit Chats, a third-party shipping provider, as a reliable and affordable shipping option. Once a package has been handed over to Chit Chats, delivery timelines and handling are subject to their policies.

Shipping Coverage & Tracking

  • Calgary (Local Orders):
    Orders shipped within Calgary may not include tracking if:

    • The order consists of one item only, and

    • The delivery address is local to our area

  • Outside Calgary:
    All orders shipped outside of Calgary will include tracking information once dispatched.

Delivery Issues & Lost or Missing Packages

  • If there are any issues related to delivery delays, missed drop-offs, or tracking updates, please contact Chit Chats directly, as they manage the shipping process once your order has been dispatched.

If your item is marked as delivered but not received, or if it appears lost in transit:

  • Please contact Narrative Candle Company immediately

  • We will assess the situation and offer a refund or replacement, where appropriate

  • Multiple issues and reports of missed delivery will be investigated and may involve legal action

Customers are responsible for ensuring that all shipping details are entered correctly at checkout.
Narrative Candle Company is not liable for:

  • Delays

  • Lost packages

  • Failed deliveries
    resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information.

Local & Hand Deliveries

  • Hand deliveries are considered a shipping service

  • Shipping fees still apply to hand-delivered orders

  • Delivery timing will be coordinated based on availability and location

Shipping Costs

  • Shipping fees are calculated at checkout and vary based on:

  • Location

  • Order size

  • Shipping method

  • Any applicable promotions (such as free shipping thresholds) will be clearly stated on the website.
